Xiaomi introduces a new flagship smartphone with a partnership with Leica to rule the world of camera phones. Xiaomi 12S Ultra from the Xiaomi 12S series revealed at the event in China comes with a new Sony IMX989 sensor.
The phone’s triple rear camera system is its key selling point. The main Sony IMX 989 sensor has a resolution of 50 megapixels and optical image stabilization. Flagship IMX989 sensor from Sony is 1-inch in size. In its 4-in-1 binned 12.5MP mode, this smartphone’s imager produces the most significant individual pixels at 3.2µm.
In terms of the optics design and image software, Leica is contributing its imaging knowledge to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
The 8P element lens in front of the 1-inch sensor corrects problems, including flare, chromatic aberration, and ghosting. Additionally, cyclic olefin copolymer material, lens edge ink coating, and infrared light filters with spin coating technology are available.
The other two cameras are the same adoption of the Mi 11 Ultra. One ultrawide, the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, is capable of autofocus. The other 48MP sensor is a telephoto camera.
The expected Xiaomi 12S Ultra price in Pakistan is Rs. 153,999, making it one of the premium phones from the Chinese tech giant.
In some other main highlights, The Xiaomi 12S Ultra has a 6.73-inch E5 Super AMOLED display with AdaptiveSync Pro compatibility and a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which promises a 10 percent gain in GPU and CPU performance and a 30 percent power efficiency compared to the 8 Gen 1.
The Xiaomi mobile prices are usually lower than its competitors, which has helped it achieve the 3rd spot in the most selling smartphones in the world.
